Panik, a state of disconnection and chaos. Where do I start and where do I end?
I used a personal experience to make my work honest. Analyzing a painted diary from a hard time in my life I used the paintings to create garments that visualize my feelings in context and dialogue with the body.

One leg, one sleeve, a covered mouth; half-dressed. The pieces seem dislocated, only held together by a blue elastic band. Even if far stretched the construction snaps back into its original position.

Shanice was asked to visualize her personal feeling of Panik. She used this opportunity to go into an extreme dialogue with the garments, almost seemingly fighting them during her dance.

Agitated, spiky shapes fighting for space. Orange and pink are in an aggressive interchange, disrupted and framed by blue zig-zack lines.

In Panik, orange and pink have been drawn with Copic-marker. To resemble the smooth artificial surface Waterproof, pink ripstop with blue embroidery and orange breathable performance fabric with a honeycomb pattern was used. The white merino wool visualized the same clash as on paper, natural meets artificial, texture meets smooth.
